Nominate now for the 2024 Queensland Women in STEM Prize

The Queensland Women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) Prize celebrates the achievements of women across Queensland who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and impact in the fields of STEM.

The prize recognises individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation and impact to Queensland across three areas:

  • The Judges’ Award: open to emerging leaders in STEM who identify as a woman.
  • First Nations STEM Award: open to emerging leaders in STEM who identify as a woman and are of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
  • Breaking Barriers Award: open to emerging leaders in STEM who identify as a woman and are an individual who has settled in Queensland as a refugee, has a disability or is a carer.
