Last chance to nominate: 2024 Brisbane Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Business Awards

The Brisbane City Council Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Business Awards recognise and celebrate the incredible contributions that Brisbane multicultural business leaders make to our economy and community through their creativity, innovation and resilience.

There are three award categories:

Nick Xynias Multicultural Young Business Person of the Year – This award recognises the success, creativity and energy of a multicultural young business leader under the age of 35, celebrating both their contribution to their community and Brisbane’s continued economic prosperity.

Multicultural Entrepreneur of the Year – This award recognises a multicultural business leader that demonstrates entrepreneurial flair through their business success, embedding a culture of innovation as a central pillar to their growth strategy. The recipient will personify the best in entrepreneurialism, possessing qualities from clear leadership and sound management to determination and ambition.

Multicultural Business Person of the Year – This award recognises a successful multicultural business leader, celebrating the recipient’s contribution to the Brisbane economy. It acknowledges them as a local champion of enterprise who may have a global outlook for their business.

Nominations are open until Sunday, 21 July 2024.

Winners will be announced at the 2024 Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Business Awards event on Friday, 8 November 2024 at Brisbane City Hall.
