Survey: Draft Queensland Statewide Oral Health Services Plan 2024-32

Oral health plays an important role in maintaining a person’s overall wellbeing. Poor oral health affects a person’s quality of life, their ability to eat, speak and socialize.

Queensland Health has developed a draft Statewide Oral Health Services Plan 2024-32 which aims to strategically plan for future public oral health services to ensure a sustainable and high-quality oral health system for eligible Queenslanders. The vision is to support Queenslanders maintain healthy mouths, teeth and gums throughout their lives.

Throughout the plan, there is a strong focus on enhancing service delivery to provide equitable and accessible oral health care that meets the needs of Queensland’s most vulnerable populations. It outlines key system-enabling actions required to establish the foundation, and sets the direction for the future of the oral health system.
