Register: Workshops to sharpen your tender writing skills and unlock funding opportunities!

QCOSS works with the Department of Trade, Employment and Training (DTET) to support our sector to apply for Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) funding.

These practical workshops are for people who write grant and funding applications and are looking to refine their skills. QCOSS will be joining you in Toowoomba, Jindalee, Caboolture, Cairns, Eagleby, Townsville and Rockhampton.

Both new and experienced grant writers are encouraged to bring their SQW project ideas to these sessions, where you will:

  • Receive tools and support to improve project planning and application responses
  • Learn about common application mistakes and how to avoid them
  • Hear what SQW assessors are looking for and how to show their ability to deliver
  • Have the opportunity to discuss your plans and applications with one of DTET’s regional officers

Applications for round one of SQW funding for 2025-26 open on Monday, 3 February and close on Thursday, 27 March 2025.
