Queenslanders are facing a severe housing crisis, with homelessness rates rising significantly. It’s an unprecedented affordability crisis, with more women and families than ever before struggling to find a safe place to call home.
The upcoming 16th Annual Women and Homelessness Forum, happening on Wednesday, 17 August from 9:00am to 1:30pm at QUT Gardens Point, will explore potential solutions, new projects, the impact of the state election, and identify opportunities to break the cycle of trauma for women and children.
Hosted by The Lady Musgrave Trust, the event will feature voices of women with lived experiences of homelessness.
