Blog: The implementation of Portable Long Service Leave
In partnership with QCOSS, CSIA has been involved in supporting Portable Long Service Leave (PLSL) implementation, from sharing Industry concerns and learnings to providing important updates on the scheme.
We are now nine months into PLSL, and CSIA has developed a blog examining what it has learnt from QLeave about how the implementation is progressing.
It’s important that your staff have a good understanding of PLSL and what your role and responsibilities are as an employer. While QLeave is the statutory authority administering the portable part of things, long service leave (LSL) itself is still the responsibility of the employer.
