QCOSS Human Rights Network event: Women’s equality
This month, QCOSS’ Human Rights Network is engaging with experts, advocates, and community leaders to discuss women’s rights and equality.
Join QCOSS on Monday, 29 July from 2:00pm to 3:00pm as we celebrate progress, address challenges, and explore innovative solutions relating to women’s equality issues.
Guest speakers include Thelma Schwartz, Principal Legal Officer at QIFVLS, who provides legal and non-legal support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims of family violence and sexual assault, and Jill McKay, CEO of Children by Choice, an organisation committed to providing evidence based information on all pregnancy options – abortion, adoption, alternative or kinship care and parenting.
