Introducing ConnectCare: support service for victims of non-violent crime
The Queensland Government has provided funding to UnitingCare to establish ConnectCare; a new Statewide support service for victims of non-violent property crime.
ConnectCare provides individualised, trauma-informed, therapeutic counselling, psychological first-aid, information, advice and referrals.
Victims of non-violent property crime should be encouraged to call ConnectCare on 1800 574 066 for support.
Victims threatened or injured by an offender should be encouraged to access support through VictimConnect on 1300 318 940.
