In Conversation with David Crisafulli MP, Leader of the Opposition
QCOSS is holding two bumper In Conversation events in the lead up to the Queensland state election on 26 October!
Hosted by QCOSS CEO Aimee McVeigh, the first session on Friday, 6 September from 2:30pm to 3:30pm will feature Leader of the Opposition and Member for Broadwater, David Crisafulli MP.
With a focus on meaningful exchange and in-depth discussion, the session aims to hear the the Opposition Leader’s response to QCOSS’ 2024 State of the Sector report, particularly in the areas of better contract conditions for social and community sector organisations; and understand his commitments to the sector, related to cost-of-living, housing and youth justice, in the lead-up to the Queensland State Election in October.
Premier Steven Miles will join QCOSS CEO Aimee McVeigh for a discussion in-reply later in September. Stay tuned to the QCOSS website for more details on that session.
