Closing soon: Strengthening Multicultural Queensland program’s project funding round
If you have a project in mind, funding is available under two project categories:
- Category 1 – Empowering Multicultural Community Projects
- Provides funding for innovative and strategic projects that address barriers and create opportunities for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds leading to more inclusive, resilient, and cohesive communities.
- One-off funding of up to $100,000 (GST exclusive) is available.
- Projects are to be delivered from 1 July 2025 and can be delivered over a two-year period to 30 June 2027.
- Category 2 – Youth and Community Connection Projects
- Provides funding for innovative projects which break down barriers and increase community access and inclusion for young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- Young people must be involved in the design and delivery of the project.
- One-off funding of up to $100,000 (GST exclusive) is available.
- Projects are to be delivered from 1 July 2025 and can be delivered over a two-year period to 30 June 2027.

Funding applications for projects to be delivered in regional areas are encouraged. Please note, applications and supporting documentation will not be accepted after the closing date to ensure fairness to all applicants.
