Tackling poverty with the Supporting Stronger Communities grants program
The Australian Neighbourhood Houses & Centres Association and the Sidney Myer Fund is offering grants of up to $10,000 for Neighbourhood and Community Houses and Centres to tackle poverty and disadvantage in local communities. So far, more 100 neighbourhood houses/centres across Australia have received grants to deliver important initiatives. Read about them.
These grants are only available to Neighbourhood and Community Houses and Centres who are members of Neighbourhood Centre state peak bodies. The grants are aimed at towns or cities with a population of more than 15,000 people.
