Survey: Emergency preparedness of people with disability

Are you an Australian resident living with disability or chronic health conditions?

This study aims to survey how prepared people are for an emergency situation such as pandemic, bushfire, or flooding, and is being carried out by a research team at the Centre for Disability, Research and Policy, at the University of Sydney.

Researchers seek to understand what people with disability can do for themselves and what supports they need in an emergency situation.

The information you provide will help the team to find ways to assist people with disability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from an emergency event.

The survey should take about 30 minutes and is entirely voluntary. All your answers to the survey questions will be kept strictly confidential and no personally identifiable information will be shared publicly. You can also skip any questions you don’t want to answer, and you may discontinue participation at any time.

You can take the survey here. If you would prefer to be surveyed over the telephone, please email your name and phone number here.
