Survey: Alcohol and other drugs in Queensland
The Queensland Mental Health Commission (QMHC) is leading work to consider a renewed approach to alcohol and other drugs (AOD) in Queensland. Its goal is to prevent and reduce the adverse impact of alcohol and other drugs on the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders.
This work supports the strategic direction set by Shifting minds: Queensland Alcohol and Other Drugs Strategic Plan 2018-2023 (Shifting minds), and will align with the National Drug Strategy and sub strategies.
The QMHC is seeking community feedback through a short survey to help inform the development of this renewed approach. To help inform your response, it has developed 10 consultation papers on topics including the pandemic’s impact, stigma and discrimination, workforce, prevention, harm minimisation, alcohol-related harm, young people, First Nations, and reform options – you can view those here.
The survey takes approximately 7 minutes to complete. To find out more or complete it visit the QMHC website. Responses close 14 March 2021.
