Stay Connected Fund supporting Queenslanders to build community connections and combat loneliness
As more and more Queenslanders face isolation and loneliness, it’s vital that support services are in place in local communities to provide opportunities to connect.
The Stay Connected Fund is a $2.5 million fund to support Queenslanders to build community connections and combat loneliness.
The Stay Connected Fund will fund initiatives that enable Queenslanders to create connections and community. Each round of the Stay Connected Fund will focus on a priority group in the community who need extra care and support.
This round of funding is looking for projects and initiatives that benefit Queensland women over the age of 55 who are experiencing social isolation and loneliness. Individuals and organisations are encouraged to apply for up to $150,000 per initiative.
The Stay Connected Fund follows the successful Dignity First Fund, which funded more than 160 projects across Queensland to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
