Queensland’s COVID-19 Vaccination Program

The Australian Government is rolling out the COVID-19 Vaccination Program from February 2021. Phase 1a of the program includes people living in aged care and shared disability accommodation, and associated staff. Information about the vaccine program for people with disability is available here.

The Queensland Government is working with the Commonwealth on the overall roll-out, and the vaccine strategy is being guided by the COVID-19 vaccine National roll-out strategy.

The Queensland rollout aims to protect our most vulnerable Queenslanders, protect and maintain a robust health system and contain COVID-19 at our international borders by protecting priority frontline health care, border and quarantine workers.

COVID-19 vaccinations are free and voluntary.
