Queensland Health Super School Vaccine Clinic pop-up weekend
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced new statewide vaccine targets for the re-opening of Queensland to interstate travellers.
From Friday, 19 November 2021 (when 70 per cent of Queenslanders are fully vaccinated), interstate travellers can begin to arrive in Queensland and complete home quarantine if they are fully vaccinated, meet testing requirements and travel by air. From Friday, 17 December 2021 (when 80 per cent of Queenslanders will be fully vaccinated), interstate travellers who are fully vaccinated and meet testing requirements do not have to quarantine and can arrive by road or air.
Queensland Health will be commencing pop-up clinics for the next few weeks to get people vaccinated in time for the border re-opening before Christmas. This weekend Pfizer vaccine clinics are coming to 100 local schools. School clinics will be accepting walk-ins for all people 12 and over from 8:00am until 2:00pm. The full list of locations and an interactive map is available here.
The vaccines will be free even if you don’t have a Medicare card and interpreters can be made available upon request. Please find attached two lists of the participating schools. You can use the poster and the QR code attached to find out where the pop up clinics will be in your area. You can print or share this poster digitally with your community.
