QCOSS 2020 State Election Leaders Debate

Join QCOSS in a panel discussion that will place together political leaders and community sector experts to discuss some of the biggest social justice issues affecting Queensland.

While all politicians may speak of benefitting all Queenslanders, people experiencing vulnerability in our state need sustained commitment.

Find out first hand the views of our political leaders and their commitment to the community services sector, the cost of living, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander justice, child protection and youth justice, domestic, family and sexual violence, disability and housing.

This discussion is needed now more than ever during COVID and before the state election on 31 October 2020.

Labor’s Minister for Communities, Disability and Seniors, Coralee O’Rourke and LNP’s Shadow Minister for Communities, Disability and Seniors, Dr Christian Rowan have committed to attend the debate.

When: Monday 19 October, 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Where: Online

Cost: Free for QCOSS members/$65 non-members

Attendees will have the opportunity to share their questions with Minister O’Rourke and Dr Rowan via a live Q&A. You can also submit your questions in advance to the QCOSS Events team: [email protected]
