On-demand: QHRC 2023 Mabo Oration

Did you miss our 2023 Mabo Oration in Townsville in June? Video is now available!

The Mabo Oration is a biennial event, presented by the Queensland Human Rights Commission (QHRC) and Queensland Performing Arts Centre, which honours the legacy of Eddie Koiki Mabo and his ground-breaking contributions to Indigenous land rights.

This year’s Mabo Oration – the first since the pandemic – was delivered by Professor Megan Davis, with special guest speakers Professor Henry Reynolds and Gail Mabo, hosted by Jeff McMullen as MC.
