Nominations open for Queensland Greats Awards

Do you know a remarkable Queenslander from your organisation or a community group that should be recognised for their work and dedication to Queensland?

Nominations for the 2021 Queensland Greats Awards are open across three categories:

Individual: For individuals who have made a long-term contribution to, or whose achievements have significantly impacted, the history and development of Queensland.

Institution: For companies or organisations operating in Queensland, public or private, regardless of size or industry, that have contributed to Queensland for a considerable period. This includes multi-national subsidiaries, partnerships, franchises, non-government associations, community organisations and registered charities.

Posthumous: To honour deceased individuals who have made a long-term contribution to, or whose achievements have significantly impacted, the history and development of Queensland.

The Queensland Greats Awards recognise industry experts, leaders, and organisations that have changed Queenslanders’ lives.

Last year’s Queensland Greats Awards honoured several Queenslanders who have had an immeasurable, positive impact on the State, including child safety champions Bruce Morcombe OAM and Denise Morcombe OAM, doctor and autism advocate Associate Professor James Morton AM, and domestic and family violence prevention advocate Betty Taylor.

Other Queensland Greats include RSPCA in 2016 and Blue Care in 2009.
