National Autism Strategy National Consultations
The Australian Government is developing a National Autism Strategy with the Autistic community, their families and carers, autism and disability sector and professionals and researchers.
The Strategy will be a whole-of-life plan for Autistic Australians of all ages – and not just those eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Have your sayA discussion paper has been released on the National Autism Strategy. It provides an overview of some of the known issues experienced by Autistic people. It also includes some possible areas of actions and a series of questions.
You’re invited to share your ideas by:
- responding to guided short-form online questions
- lodging a written, audio or video submission
- attending a face to face consultation event.
Submissions close on Monday, 30 October 2023.
