Multicultural Community Leaders forum to discuss Queensland border plan

A statewide Multicultural Community Leaders forum has been scheduled for Thursday, 11 November from 5:30pm to 7:00pm to respond to questions about the border plan and any community concerns.

Representatives from Queensland Health will discuss examples of how people will be able to move in and out of Queensland as the borders open and answer questions directly from community members.

During the meeting case scenarios will be used to help answer questions you may have about:

  • Interstate
  • International travel for (Australian Residents)
  • International Travel for (Temporary Visa holder)
  • International students traveling into Australia

A newly developed plain-English border plan resource is also now available detailing the different rules and considerations for domestic and international travel as Queensland reaches 70%, 80% and 90% vaccination rates.

Community members are welcome to join online via Zoom – the details can be found here.
