Join: Immigrant Women’s Support Service advocacy group

The Immigrant Women’s Support Service are forming a group of women from diverse cultural backgrounds who have experienced Domestic or Sexual Violence to meet regularly.

It aims to amplify the voice of women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who have experienced domestic and or sexual violence, strengthen solidarity, highlight issues faced, and contribute to work towards a society free from gender-based violence.

Its first meeting is on Wednesday, 4 May from 10:00am to 1:00pm. The location will be sent out to registered participants, with support for transport costs and child care provided.

You can register for the first meeting until 29 April here, but organisers encourage you to get in touch to join subsequent meetings.
