Investing in Queensland Women Grants Round 1 2022 applications are now open!

The Queensland Department of Justice and Attorney-General is currently accepting applications under Round 1 of the 2022 Investing in Queensland Women grant program.

Grants of up to $15,000 (excluding GST) are available to community groups and organisations across the state’s urban, rural and remote communities to develop and deliver initiatives that align with the Queensland Government’s strategic priorities for women and address the unique issues faced by women and girls. The total allocation of funds is $270,000 (excluding GST) per round.

One-off grant funding will be made available to support initiatives with a duration of up to 6 months that align with the purpose of the program, that is to help deliver community events and strengthen partnerships, relevant to achieving gender equality and preventing all forms of violence against women.

Applications for Round 1 2022 are now open and will close at 5:00pm on Monday, 28 February 2022. Successful applicants will be announced in April 2022.

Applications under Round 1 2022 can support the delivery of projects in the second half of 2022 (including Sexual Violence Prevention Month).
