Inquiry into Capability and Culture of the National Disability Insurance Agency
The Joint Standing Committee on the NDIS has announced an Inquiry into Capability and Culture of the NDIA. The committee will inquire into, and report on the implementation, performance, governance and administration of the NDIS, with particular reference to:
- the capability and culture of the NDIA, with reference to operational processes and procedures, and nature of staff employment
- the impacts of NDIA capability and culture on the experiences of people with disability and NDIS participants trying to access information, support and services from the Agency
- any other relevant matters.

The committee is inviting submissions with two closing dates – 12 October 2022 and 16 December 2022.
Submissions from organisations and individuals received on or before 12 October 2022 will be considered for public hearings to be held later in 2022. Any submissions received after 12 October will not be considered for hearings in 2022, but will be considered for hearings in 2023.
The committee particularly welcomes submissions from people with disability, families and carers; allied health professionals; and representative organisations. More information about making submissions can be found online.
