Free training: Support for survivors of violent crime, dealing with financial issues, and mental health law

This June LawRight is hosting a series of training webinars pitched at social workers, community workers, health workers, and other staff working in the community sector.

The training will take place over three afternoons, and each afternoon will feature a series of workshops delivered remotely via videoconference.

Entry to this training is free, and you can register for any or all of the sessions that you will find useful. Hosts will be covering the following topics:

  • Wednesday, 8 June 2022:¬†Accessing support for survivors of violent crime, including responses to family and domestic violence;
  • Thursday, 9 June 2022:¬†Dealing with financial issues, fines and infringement notices, debts, and consumer disputes;
  • Friday, 10 June 2022: Mental health law and accessing entitlements (including NDIS and Centrelink).
