EOI: Self-paced online learning in Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness

An Expression of Interest is now open for a free self-paced online learning course in Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness (P-CEP).

This learning opportunity is open to all government and non-government stakeholders and housing and homelessness service providers supporting people experiencing homelessness in Queensland particularly those with responsibilities in emergency management and disaster recovery planning, community resilience, community engagement and inclusion.

This is part of the Homelessness Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (HIDRR) project which involves the Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy working with the Community Services Industry Alliance (CSIA) and The University of Sydney to develop a framework and toolkit to best support people experiencing homelessness in a disaster.

This course is currently being offered through The University of Sydney, Centre for Continuing Education. Upon completion, participants will graduate with a plan as well as a Certificate of Completion from The University of Sydney.
