COVID-19: Care Army marching back into action

The Queensland Government has reactivated the Care Army to assist in providing essential support to Queenslanders at the current time. As you may be aware, Care Army volunteers are matched with volunteer involving organisations to support your existing volunteer workforce or provide additional assistance where you may need it as you respond to the impacts of COVID-19.

You may have previously utilised Care Army volunteers when the Care Army was first established in 2020.

The Queensland Government is reaching out to understand if your organisation requires the support of Care Army volunteers to assist in delivering essential services. Complete the following Care Army Volunteers online form, this will help the government understand your volunteer needs, as well as reasons for not needing volunteers at this point in time.

It will provide this information to Volunteering Queensland who will manage the process of connecting interested Care Army volunteers with your organisation.

Volunteering Involving Organisations must also be registered with Volunteering Queensland to request the use of volunteers. Please fill out the online form to register your organisation or check your registration status. Once registered, Volunteering Queensland will establish contact with you to establish you volunteering needs.
