Check In Qld app now available

The new Check In Qld app helps Queensland businesses comply with the current Public Health Direction requirements around capturing customer details electronically, particularly hospitality businesses where this is mandatory. This requirement enables efficient and effective contact tracing – a critical aspect of our ongoing pandemic response and in keeping Queensland COVID safe.

In addition to being free and easy to use, the Check in Qld app eases the burden on businesses by removing the need to manage customer data. All personal details are stored securely by the Queensland Government and are accessed only for contact tracing if required.

While use of the Check In Qld app is not mandatory, more than 3000 business have already registered to use Check In Qld. Detailed information for businesses and customers, as well as a range of resources to promote the app are available at the Queensland Government COVID-19 portal.
