Alcohol and Other Drugs Regional Community Forums
Community leaders and community members are invited to join the conversation about reform of the alcohol and other drugs (AOD) system in Queensland.
Harmful use of alcohol and other drugs can have significant and wide-ranging impacts on individuals, families, communities and the economy that are preventable or can be minimised.
The Queensland Mental Health Commission is working on a renewed state-wide alcohol and other drugs plan to prevent and reduce harm from alcohol and other drug use, and to guide multi-faceted system and service responses to alcohol and drug issues.
The regional forums will gather community perspectives on key themes for reform. To support the forums, the Commission has published 10 consultation papers by experts that examine the evidence and options for reform. Audience members are also invited to complete our online survey about reform priorities.
