Council on the Ageing (COTA) Queensland has worked with older people for more than 60 years to influence decision making and create positive social change, promoting older people’s rights and advocate to Government on issues that affect us all as we age.
They are working to create an age-friendly Queensland with vibrant, healthy and equitable communities for all ages. To inform this work COTA has been hosting a series of Community Conversations throughout Queensland to discuss what's working well, what can be improved, and how.
These conversations are aimed at giving people the space to speak about their communities and give an opportunity to explore solutions to support them.
COTA invites people aged 50+ to come along and share their voice.
