The Queensland Law Handbook is a comprehensive, plain-English legal reource designed to help deal with legal problems. Caxton Legal Centre has recently published the handbook as a website.
The handbook has been printed as a hard-copy since the early eighties, but thanks to funding from the Queensland Department of Justice and Attorney-General is now available for free online.
Over 60 chapters cover a wide range of topics including family law, offenders and victims, the legal system and more. The site is split into seven sections each relating to a broad area of law to make it easy to find the legal information you need.
