Community organisations and young Queenslanders can now apply for grants to fund initiatives to help tackle cyberbullying.
Queenslanders aged 10-17 can apply for grants of $500 to $1,500, while community organisations can apply for grants of $1,500 to $5,000.
Young people will need a sponsoring organisation—such as a sporting group, community organisation or school P&C— to assist them with managing the grant funding.
Community organisations are encouraged to apply independently, or consider sponsoring a young person and helping them develop and deliver their ideas.
Applications deadline has been extended and will close at midnight 21 July 2019.
