Queensland Social Enterprise Council (QSEC) and CQUniversity's Office of Social Innovation present a training session to support social entrepreneurs, organisations and community leaders who want to introduce and embed Human Centred Design (HCD) into their practice, new product/service design, delivery and social impact outcomes.
HCD is both a method and mindset that places people and communities at the centre of investigations of social problems and the design of innovative, effective and sustainable solutions.
In this full-day workshop, learn about the HCD approach, and explore its value as a method for social innovation through activities and application - guided by communications agency The Social Deck.
Participants will then unpack the opportunities for using HCD method/mindset in the community context, particularly for embedding social innovation in collaborative responses to complex problems and challenges.

When: 17 July 2018, 9am-4:30pm
