An information pack is now available to support NDIS providers with understanding the requirements of the quality and safety framework covered by the federal NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission) from 1 July.

The pack lays out the NDIS Code of Conduct, your responsibilities as a registered or un-registered NDIS service provider for you and your workers, as well as the benefits, obligations and types of screening that will need to take place.

In Queensland, the Department of Communities, Disability Services and Seniors ceased accepting new applications for HSQF assessment on 1 April 2019 in preparation for this transition.
