Funding is available for young Queenslanders, aged 15-21, who are or have been living in out-of-home care (OOHC).

The What's Next OOHC fund provides financial support to young people living in OOHC to allow them to enrol in vocational education and training courses (VET).

Once registered, young people will be contacted by a What's Next pathways officer who match their skills and interests to jobs so they can choose a training pathway.

Help will be given with enrolment fees and some training related expenses like textbooks and occupational licences.

Go to the What's Next OOHC webpage for more information and to apply.
