The Brisbane Region of the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services hosted an information forum for organisations contracted to provide human services for the department on Wednesday, 15 October 2014 at Kedron-Wavell Services Club. Over one hundred and fifty people attended from approximately ninety eight service providers across Child Safety, Community Services, Community Care and Disability Services.
The focus was on sharing key messages and practicalities about procurement and contract management reforms being progressed by the department with funded organisations. There were also two specific presentations on Queensland’s move to the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
