The Yarning Circle is a collection of stories about and by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with a disability. These stories were produced to provide information about the state-wide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Disability Network and to start a conversation about the NDIS and the opportunities it can provide to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability their carers, families and communities.
The A&TSIDNQ is auspiced by Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) a state-wide network of, for, and with people with disability. QDN believes people with disability have a right to live as empowered, valued citizens in their community with genuine opportunities to contribute and actively participate in all aspects of community life.
