The Queensland Council of Social Service is holding information sessions on how to save money on power bills - during August, September and October.
Switch On... in your community is open to anyone in the local community to learn more about their energy costs.
- Are you receiving all the government energy rebates you are entitled to?
- Would you like to understand what you can do to manage your energy use and costs?
- Do you have your own energy saving tips to share with others in your community?
Bring your bill along to this free event to learn more about how you can save energy and money. By bringing your bill along you will be in with a chance of winning some great prizes such as grocery vouchers and energy efficient rewards packs.
Short information sessions will run on the hour from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, followed by opportunities to have a conversation about your energy bills, learn how to read your bill, how to work out the cost of using appliances and share tips for saving energy.

Mackay, 31 August
Mt Isa, 4 September
Bundaberg, 14 September
Gladstone, 21 September
Rockhampton, 19 October
Logan, 25 October
Toowoomba, 31 October
Refreshments will be provided.
