The QFCC have released the Talking Families stakeholder report. It details the results of a survey of professionals in the child and family support sector who were asked about their perceptions of the sector and thoughts about families’ help-seeking behaviour.

Respondents said fear of judgement, lack of awareness of services, and fear of formal interventions discourage families from seeking help. This finding complements the recently published results of the Talking Families baseline survey of parents (and non-parents).

Encouragingly, nearly all respondents said they believed staff in the sector strive for best practice.
