The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has released details of a new NDIS pathway designed to significantly improve the experience people and organisations have with the NDIS.
The 'pathway' refers to the experience participants and providers have from their first interaction to their ongoing engagement with the NDIS.
The new NDIS pathway will ensure that participant's and provider's experience with the NDIS is outcomes focussed; reliable and trusted; vibrant and connected; and consistent and straightforward.
Central to the new pathway is the delivery of face-to-face engagement for all NDIS plan development, based on individual's preference. More information about the NDIS pathway improvements is available on the NDIS website.
Queensland welcomes these improvements and the NDIA's commitment to continuous improvement enabling better experiences and outcomes for people with disability and providers.
