Each year, Brisbane City Council and Volunteering Queensland join forces with some very special volunteers to run Homeless Connect. This important one-day event links people experiencing homelessness with vital services that many of us take for granted.

Homeless guests can access a wealth of services in a one-stop-shop environment including employment, legal, government and other services. Guests can have a haircut, get a health check or learn about housing options.

We are also looking for professionals who are willing to share their special skills with those less fortunate. Doctors, dental nurses, podiatrists, massage therapists, hairdressers and more will be welcomed.

Volunteers who assisted at past Homeless Connect events found it a rewarding experience, so far we've helped more than 15,000 people to connect with services that would have otherwise been out of reach.
