Health care and social assistance is already the biggest industry in Central Queensland. Planning for further growth requires a deep understanding of local needs and strong and strategic connections between organisations and sectors.
The Rockhampton Women's Breakfast will focus on the need for connections across geographically dispersed regional, rural and remote organisations to keep the focus on place through centrally driven reform. It will explore how women leaders in the community services industry can be smart connectors by strategically developing and maintaining relationships and networks.
These connections between private sector, governments, universities, community members and community service organisations will aim to build cohesion, sustainable and robust services and mutual accountability to address social challenges.
Women in leadership positions (Executives, Managers, Board members) in the private sector, governments, universities, and community service organisations are invited to join the breakfast.
