The Commonwealth Bank Community Grants program will be awarding $6 million in grants of up to $10,000 each year, for three years, to organisations supporting the wellbeing of Australian youth.

To support charities to deliver crucial programs over the longer term, from 2017 onwards, they will be awarding all grants for a period of three years. This means that an organisation could secure a potential $30,000 in funding.

Due to this change, the Commonwealth Bank Community Grants program will next open for applications in 2020 - so don't delay in applying for a grant this year.

Who can apply?

If your organisation is delivering valuable programs in your community to support your local youth, has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status and is covered under Item 1 of the table in section 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act, 1997, you may be eligible to apply.

Dates to note for this year:

Applications open on Monday 6 March 2017, at 9am AEDT

Applications close on Friday 31 March 2017, at 11:59pm AEDT

Successful recipients announced on Wednesday 5 July 2017
