Queensland Program of Assistance to Survivors of Torture and Trauma (QPASTT) provides flexible and culturally sensitive services to promote the health and wellbeing of people who have been tortured or who have suffered refugee related trauma prior to migrating to Australia.
Multicultural Development Association (MDA) is a lead specialist settlement organisation providing servicse to refugees and migrants. MDA undertakes community development and systemic advocacy for refugee communities.
The Queensland Refugee Health Service is operated by Queensland State Government, Queensland Health. Refugees, special humanitarian entrants and asylum seekers are provided with standard initial health assessments. Priority is given to those who are within the first six months of settlement and asylum seekers.
