Brisbane Actionweb for Refugee Collaboration (BARC) is a community website for everyone who cares about refugees in Brisbane. BARC is managed by the Multicultural Development Association (MDA). MDA has re-energised BARC to enable refugee related information and events to be easily shared between members of the community. The Queensland Refugee Health Service is operated by Queensland State Government, Queensland Health. Refugees, special humanitarian entrants and asylum seekers are provided with standard initial health assessments. Priority is given to those who are within the first six months of settlement and asylum seekers.
