On 8 December we celebrate Community Door’s 10th birthday.

Community Door was established as a gateway for community service organisations in Queensland to access key information and resources to help them in all aspects of their operations and keep them up to date with what’s happening in the sector.

From social service reform to legislation, child protection to mental health, fundraising to human resource management, Community Door covers a broad range of topics and has become the one-stop for the sector in Queensland and beyond.

Since launching in 2006 Community Door has expanded to include eTraining, Network Spaces and StudioQ.

Key statistics

  • More than 1.3 million people have used Community Door
  • There have been more than 2.4 million page views on the Community Door main site
  • More than 49,000 people have used Network Spaces
  • There have been more than 1.7m eTraining sessions
  • More than 150 media resources have been made available on StudioQ

Your feedback

When we asked what do you find most useful about the Community Door suite of websites the general consensus was that the range of topics and information covered was the most useful aspect. Examples of some of the answers were:

“It’s a one stop shop that does open doors” Rob, Eight Mile Plains

“Network Spaces is such a fantastic platform for storing and sharing information” Renee, Brisbane

“I find the variety of topics on StudioQ allows for something relevant each time I visit” Tracey, Mackay

Here’s to many more years to come
